The Nimitz & Burke were the Navy's first-generation of mobile marketing tours that really tapped into the basics of experiential marketing. The tours each featured integrated registration/data collection, a pull-up bar, recruiter station, and a Oculus VR experience putting the user in the boots of a Navy SWCC Operator. The tour supported 26 regional recruiting commands across the country. The Burke operated 2017-2020 when it was decommissioned due to Covid. The Nimitz operated 2017-2024.
